The BSAC Program IN Applied Chemistry

            The excellent and innovative applied chemistry program is offered in industrial management and material science.  The program emphasizes on the integrated chemistry education by applying theoretical chemistry concepts to practical applications and to the challenges posed by the needs of local and international business.  In great learning environment, students work as a team addressing real world problems with applications in chemistry and come to understand how to maintain a balance between technology, society, and human needs.

  • Industrial Chemistry and Management: designed for future technical managers of chemical related industry and business.  The program balances scientific knowledge with practical aspects of finance, management, and accounting under the perspectives of international quality systems.

  • Material Chemistry: specifically designed for undergraduates who want to obtain a deep knowledge in material science which is a key to the advancement of the economy and social issues.

 

 

Student Exchange Program

          BSAC students are encouraged to participate in the Student Exchange Program by spending at least one semester oversea at institution of their choices. Exchange students pay tuition and academic fees for the exchange period to Chulalongkorn University and are exempt from tuition fees at a host institution. Vice versa, foreign students are welcome to apply for the exchange program at their respective universities and spend a semester or a year at Chulalongkorn University.  The program partners are reputable institutions all over the world from within Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America continents.

 

Professional Internship

            Professional internship is mandatory and designed to supplement and enrich the undergraduate education. Professional students need to take an internship with either public or private organization for a minimum period of 240 hours. This is an opportunity for students to apply their classroom knowledge and theoretical concepts to real-world situations.  It also serves as a tryout period for their interest in a particular career before making a permanent commitment. Students may process their internship arrangement personally with consent from the program or apply through the program collaborations and partnerships.
